Faugeres is situated in the Herault (34) department of France within the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The village is just 25 Kms. north of Beziers approxiamately equi-distant between Montpellier and Narbonne. The nearest airport recently opened is Beziers just 40 minutes drive away. Other airports within easy reach are Carcassonne, Montpellier, Perpignan and Nimes. All within about one to one & half hours drive. Girona in Spain is another airport within about two hours drive which should be considered. Each airport is served by low cost carriers i.e. either/or Ryanair, Easy Jet etc. Please check with relevent web sites on flight schedules.
Driving from the ferry ports in the north of France entails a 10 to 11 hour drive. Faugeres is best accessed via the A75 autoroute across the Massif Central and then following signs for Bedarieux and then to Beziers before picking up the signage for Faugeres.
